The Bell Family

Random ponderings on God, life, and the humor all around us

Headed Home

So, after some x-rays this morning and additional observation, the doctors have released Courtney and we’ll be headed home shortly.  We’re still a bit unclear about what this will all mean for Courtney in the future, whether that be further steroid treatment, surgery, or just weathering the ups and downs of having Crohn’s.  We’ll be going to see her gastroenterologist again in mid-June to try to get more answers.

Thank you all for your prayers and outpouring of love toward our family during this time.  Courtney is feeling much better, though we’re still keeping an eye on things as she transitions back to eating solid foods (the last time she had solids was Tuesday evening) and gets back up to full capacity after being totally wiped out Tuesday night and Wednesday.
