Hangin’ at the Hospital

So, a few of you heard that Court was having some severe abdominal pain due to a particularly bad Crohn’s flare-up.  After spending all morning in the ER and getting a CT scan, she’s been admitted to the hospital for observation while they treat her obstruction with steroids.  If those work, then we’ll be outta here soon.  If not, then we’ll be discussing surgery with the GI doctor.  I’ll keep y’all updated on here on the blog.

On a related note, here’s a shout-out to Rachel (Hay) Hurt, John & Beth Custis, and Nana for being so kind to step in and watch the kids while we went to the ER this morning.  We feel the love of Christ through your generosity and also through the many prayers we know are being said on Court’s behalf.  Blessings to you all!

P.S.  Some have asked about coming to visit.  Right now, CB has requested some time to just rest and get feeling better, so please no visitors for the time being.  But we heartily welcome prayers and emails and the such (they have surprisingly good Wi-Fi here)…

  4. So sorry Court! Know that I am praying for you. Try to enjoy your sleep and rest while you can. Praying you are better soon.

  5. We’ll be praying for you Courtney. Feel better soon. 🙂
