What in the World is RSS?

For those of you who have heard of RSS and XML but don’t know what they are, I’m about to help you…  Okay, I’m not really going to help, because I don’t know more than the rest of you.  But Tim Challies does and he posted on it.  I invite you to check it out for a quick and easy-to-read description of RSS feeds and the like.  He also recommends some RSS Readers/Programs you can use to check all your favorite blog headlines.  And while you’re at it, you can add us to your reader! (See our RSS link in the right column)

P.S.  Get ready for some manly topics to come up in the near future, like sports and meat and beating each other up.  That means, ladies, that you need to get your husbands to read this blog (I’m especially thinking of David and Brian for this one).  Okay, again, I’m not being entirely accurate, because I don’t watch any sports, can’t use my grill here at our apartment, and I’ve never beaten anyone up.  But that doesn’t mean I can’t start now…

  1. HA! I read this to Brian and he laughed too. I’ll see what I can do. 🙂 Oh, and I can’t wait to read what you have to say about meat.

  2. ok…are you gonna discuss sports and meat and manly topics???

  3. I love you brother, but wouldn’t a post on these subjects require at least a basic knowledge and/or understanding of them? Just thinking out loud(ok, not out loud in print)
