After “planning” to start this for a few months now, I’m finally beginning the hundred push up challenge with some brothers from Sojourn. The idea is to follow the plan for six(ish) weeks to start at any strength level and make it up to 100 consecutive push ups. I’d love for any of you reading to consider taking the challenge, too. It should be a rockin’ time.

Our church, Sojourn, has now released a handful of CDs. The most recent came out a year ago and featured eight Advent/Christmas songs. The album is available for free download or pay-what-you-want. I highly recommend them, even though we’re past Christmas now. Only three of them sound like traditional Christmas songs anyway. And I promise that there are no strings attached to it–it’s truly free if you enter five emails addresses (I know, because I did it to get the free downloads). Our church has just launched a new blog you can view here. The blog is written primarily by our lead pastor, Daniel Montgomery, for the new BC series (understanding what a Christian does with the Old Testament) our church is going through this year beginning Jan. 4th. It also has two other parts–upcoming conferences and events and a community life section. It is a really excellent tool for anyone to use, so check it out!
